Working together since 2004, our Partners collaborated to start Waypoint in 2008 with a simple mantra "Value and Performance NOT Volume".

Their resulting business model focused Waypoint on a small set of clients with whom they built deep, sustaining, strategic, and often exclusive support relationships based on mutual trust and collaborative performance.

Every Waypoint client and every Waypoint project has a direct relationship with our Partners.

As Waypoint Partners, together they have led more than 340 projects and helped to deliver over $35B in single-award, government contract wins to our clients including:

  • Capture and Proposal Leadership support on six (6) U.S. Department of Defense ACAT-1 acquisitions and one (1) Canadian Department of Defense acquisition helping to deliver over $14B in single awards to date; $27B in single awards are pending.  
  • Capture and Proposal Leadership support on more than forty (40) U.S. Federal Civil and U.S. State & Local government Health & Human Services Information Technology systems and services acquisitions helping to deliver over $9B in single awards to date.

Dan Moriarty

Principal, Co-Founder

Dan brings 33 years of proven performance growing private and public companies helping both his employers and his clients to win more than $250 billion dollars in government program/project contract awards, and personally delivering over $2 billion dollars in commercial product and services sales. He has led businesses and business units from profit & loss through product/solution development, marketing and sales of hardware and software products, integrated solutions, and consulting services. Dan delivers global experience selling and delivering into government, aerospace and defense, manufacturing, information technology, financial services, healthcare/medical and other markets. His demonstrated success creating and implementing high growth business plans spans large corporations to small venture capital, “start-up” businesses; inclusive of “turn-around” and Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) activities.

Hal Stalcup

Principal, Co-Founder

Hal brings over 34 years of experience in the Federal Department of Defense, Federal Civilian, State and Local government, Healthcare and Software markets. He has a strong background in sales, strategy, capture, proposal management, program execution for large procurement's, account management, and information systems technology. Hal has extensive experience as an Orals Coach encompasses planning, developing documents, graphics, and slides, and training and coaching for both large and small teams.
